hai,
i have html text field,produced by jsp file.i need them in overwrite mode as they get loaded.i mean the newly entered charactors should replace the existing one.is there any solution for this.May be a javascript funtion will help.iam not sure about that.But is there any code in java by which i could enable or disable insert key.

There are many Java based Open Source On-Screen Keyboard software available.

Download any, and view the source code. Find out how they are disabling or enabling insert key (and other keys) programmatically.
