Hi,

I'm new here, but I was wondering whether the moderators were aware of the massive blog-spam in Corey's [SCJP] JavaRanch blog, which is very prominently linked to in the SCJP forum (and has very helpful content!).

An example entry:
http://radio.javaranch.com/corey/2004/05/04/1083684417000.html

It seems that the spammers continue to add garbage comments to this day, even though many of the topics are very old.

If this is old news, I apologize.

Thanks!
Peter

Javaranch's radio is linked with it ,so this might be the reason that Javaranch in its own not taking interest.

Oops, sorry no-one got back to you.

Thanks for the notification, we're looking at fixing it. For the record it looks to be a problem with Corey's blog not using some of the anti-spam features in Pebble, but in his defense these features are not enabled by default in the version we use.

Thanks, David, for checking it out. I noticed that the current blogs don't seem to have this problem, so I assumed there was some difference between the two.
