How can I know weather the pixeles are inside the polygon

Here I am trying to know pixels which are inside in my region of interest . I draw My region of Interest on the Image displayed at the applet but I can not differenciat which pixel coordinates are inside and which are outside.
In Regular shapes------rectangles I can
the information I have-------------- points with their sequence

From javadoc: java.awt.Polygon:

contains
public boolean contains (double x, double y)
Determines if the specified coordinates are inside this Polygon. For the definition of insideness, see the class comments of Shape.
