Can I apply for h1 while i have l1

Hi I have an l1 petition approved through my current company. but i have not yet got stamping.

Now can i apply for h1b processing from different company?

if yes , will there be any problem when I go for l1 stamping from my current company?

No you can keep only one visa at a time .i have gone through whole episode again and agian who might be knowing better .ha ha.if you have the petition of L1 no probs you can go for H1.but if you stamped the you will have to make your L1 inactive the you can go for H1.
