Dear Ranchers,
I'm working in a company, where there are 3 network printer installed in the Server. 75 Computers are connected to the network printer(s). But at the end of every day i can see around 100 sheets of printed paper wasted in the printer. So we have decided to develop a software which can print the ip address in the top-right corner with a light gray color (#EEEEEE) of each and every paper which is printed thru the network printer. Can i do this in Java Print API?

Please Help me ranchers.
Awaiting for your valuable comments!!

Thanks and regards

Why do you want to use Java for this - are the pages printed from Java applications?

I think you should investigate if either the printer can do this by itself with a bit of post-processing in PostScript, or maybe if that's something that the printer driver can do. The Java Print API is just another client to the print system - it can't mess around with print jobs that don't originate from Java code.
