hello,

Sorry in advance if my problem is not of 'Advanced' level
Scenario:
I have a 'signed' applet at my webserver. The applet code is running outside the security sandbox, so when user access my page, java Security Warning box opens at user's screen and he/she click on 'Run' button to execute the applet. It working well if every thing goes as i described.

Problem:
Now, Is there any to run a java class file(containing code, i-e Accessing file system etc) at user side, WHEN HE ACCESSES MY WEBPAGE. I mean can my java file silently(or with user permissions) download and run at user's PC ??
Best Regards,
Waqas Tariq Dar

That sounds like Java Web Start to me. If you have a 1.5 or 1.6 Java installed you should find information in the ../docs/tooldocs/index.html page. Otherwise a Google search will get you started.
