i posted a question this morning that was not moved, simply deleted... is there a better place for me to post a question on session serialization issue??

I think it might have something to do with the problem I described in my ealrier post...

I'd basically posted a new topic, and then when I clicked on it in the topics list, it brought up a topic by you instead.

Something's gone wrong somewhere...

Yes, it looks likely that Greg and James posted at the same time in the same forum, and a race condition caused one of the posts to be lost. It must have occurred just as a cached copy of Greg's post was being created, so that even as the cache kept Greg's post, the original was being overwritten with James'. So for a while James saw the cached copy of Greg's post. Then when the thread was touched again, the cached copy of Greg's post was replaced with the original data from James' post. Unfortunately, Greg's original now appears to be lost entirely. There seems to be nothing wrong with where you posted, Greg - you just fell victim to a rare race condition. I'm sorry about that - I'll look at the code to see if there's a way to better prevent this in the future.
