I have a java application in a jar file. It is on a file share along with the 1.2 jre directory structure. I have altered the autoexec.bat of a 'clean' client adding a classpath entry which points to the jre\bin directory. But...the application does not run on the clean client. What steps do I need to perform on my 'clean' client to make the application run? Registry? Moving dll's? Other?

Install the JRE on the client and then execute your Jar file from the share. I don't think you can share the JRE and have it work on a client that doesn't have the JRE installed.
