Here is a problem:
I have an Image object in my java program. It is displayed as some kind of image on the screen. Is there any way I can copy and paste it into a Word document?
Thanks a lot,
Victoria

Do you want to do this in an application, or just do it for documentation?
For documenting:
If you are in a windows environment just hit printscreen the switch to the MSWord document and paste the clipboard contents into the document (cntl V).
Or, if you read the code you can find the input file that creates the image. In word you can can do Insert/File and pull in the contents of the input file.

Thanks, Cindy,
But what I actually need is to do it programmatically. That is put Image object (which is not created from a file!) into the Clipboard. And then a user can do Ctrl-V inside of the Word document.
Any ideas, anybody?
Thanks,
Victoria

Hi Victoria and other Ranchers!
I also want to do the same thing, but seems its not possible in JDK1.1 (Anybody brave enough to take the challenge!
http://www.javaconference.com/features/1999/08/ji199908ps_f/ji199908ps_f.asp has a discussion which might help in case of JDK 1.2 onwards.
Anybody with any clue, please post!
thanks,
Aruna
