I encounter a strange problem in JTextField. If I position the mouse pointer over the JTextField, type something in and then move away the mouse pointer. The charcaters I just typed in will be partially displayed or it just partially displayed the previous content. This problem will not happen if I do not position the mouse pointer over the JTextField. Do I need to call up some method to solve the problem?

Why don't we move this over to the SWING forum and see how well they do.

a revalidate() method for the textfield itself or the container, holding the textfield, might help.
