Why is that I am not able to view applets using swing in IE 5.5.
Does it has to do something with trusted an non trusted applets?
How can I get over with this problem?
Please throw somelight

Hi Anand,
IE or Netscape both don't support swing. so if u want to see ur swing applet u need to download the htmlconverter from sun site then conevrt your html file using this converter . once u do it u'll be able to see your swing applet in IE.
hope this helps.
regards

Not yet, swing is fairly new.
This is the HTML converter http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/1.3/features.html

or better yet this plug-in directs applets or JavaBeans on intranet web pages to run using Sun's Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (JRE) instead of the web browser's default virtual machine (which doesn't support swing). http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/
