hi,
I have devolped a tablemodel with its own datatypes. The data can be of two forms a. vector of vectors b. a vector of vector of vectors. This model is working fine with jdk1.2.2. now i am shifting to jdk1.3. the rows are not editable in 1.3version for the second type of datatypes. the exact popint of difference is at defaultcelleditor component. in jdk 1.2.2 defaultcelleditor.isCellEditable(EventObject e) returns true always. but in 1.3 it delegates it to an mouse listener. this is not giving me a value of true which it has to.. if i set my own renderes and editors and overwrite getcelleditor(int, int) of jtable i am able to achieve it. i want to know whether this can be avoided in some way.
Thanks
Arvind
