I have a JTabbedPane, on one 'tab' is a table, in the next tab there is a huge label. This looks fine in design view (I'm using VisualAge), but when I run my applet, the tabs don't work.
What happens is the table on the first tab is displayed fine. Clicking on the second tab highlights the top sticky-out tab bit, but we still see the table from the first tab.
It looks like I'd need to add some of my own event handling behaviour for changing tabs - I've re-read my book Just Java 2 - and the example there seems to assume that just adding components to the JPanels should work fine.
Any help would be welcome,
thanks,
Kate

Oddly enough - you were right - on trying to section off some code to post, i discovered that if I were to use the right sort of container in the first place (JApplet) I wouldn't have the problem !!!
Cheers,
Kate
