We've created a floating button bar prototype that sticks to the top, bottom, and sides of the screen. When in normal floating mode, it looks like this:
(To work properly, the following links should be copied and pasted into your browser address bar).

When the window is dragged to the side of the screen and sticks there, the tabs and buttons correctly re-align, but now there's a space between the buttons and the side of the window (bar was stuck to left side of screen):

This looks ugly and I'd like to get rid of it, but I can't seem to fix it. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Tripod won't let anyone remotely load your .jpg file.
What layout are you using? Maybe pack()? Maybe invalidate() followed by validate()?
Guessing...

Thanks for the head's-up about the remote loading. It works if you copy/paste the URL to your browser address bar.
I'll give the invalidate/validate a try.
