How do I remove all the chrome from a window? I don't want the title bar or any of the borders or anything, I just want the content pane area. Also, after that's all removed, how would I position in image in the top left, at 0,0? Everything I've tried hasn't worked. I've used a JWindow, which doesn't have any window chrome, but no matter what I do, I can't get the JLabel with the image to be positioned at 0,0. it's always like 1 away from the left, and about 5 or so down from the top.
Any help would be appreciated, also if anyone knows of any really good resources on laying out components WITHOUT a layout manager it would really help me out if you could share that. I've read the sun tutorial, but it's pretty short.
thanks,
jeff

Ok, well I was being stupid... I had accidentaly put a panel in where I shouldn't have, which was throwing off the alignment of everything. So anyways, now I've got it working fine.
