How to add watermarks to scanned images(Urgent)

Hi,
I am trying to add watermark to a scanned image? I didn't find the solution, if you have any idea, please let me know as early as you can.

Some printer drivers support adding watermarks to documents at print time. That might be an easy solution.

My problem is After scanning a image i have add watermarks programatically.. If you have any idea, please let me know as early as you can.
