The java swing project here at work has gotten to the point where we need some kind of source code control. At a minimum some kind of "check-in check-out" repository. Any of you cow-pokes have any suggestions or recommendations for source code control software.
Everybody's using a different ide or editor.
Thanx in advance pardners...
George.

My first recommendation would to try to standardize on an IDE. But I know how developers can be. I'm one of them! At my work, we have people that swear by Forte, others hate that one and use JBuilder, and still others use TextPad.

Anyways... the one thing we *do* have in common is CVS. http://cvshome.org/new_users.html
Now if only we used it.

Thanks for the reply Mike. I'll check that out
Your right about standardizing on the IDE...but it may be the shootout at the OK corral
