How do I show my JFrame in its maximized-size when I set it visisble? Also can I check the resolution of the system (eg 800x600 or 1024x768) in my program?
Many thanks.

To get the screen size, use:
Dimension screenSize = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getScreenSize()
