I have looked in my JRE 1.3 and even downloaded JRE 1.3.1 to get the ActiveX Bridge also known as sun.beans.ole.Packager.
I can't find it anywhere!
Does anyone know where I should be looking?

the package name suggests that it is not part of the
standard jre. it probably is something from Sun.

Thanks for doing some research for me but unfortunately it simply leads in a circle. I was already informed by the Java Sun website that this bridge is included in thelatest Plug-In download. That's why I've downloaded a more recent version as well as searching the installed files and folders of the plugin.
The first link was the FAQ I had first read to become interested in trying the bridge as a solution. The second link is a page I had never seen before but the download link on that page leads right back again to the Java plug-in page where I had downloaded the java plug-in to get the bridge in the first place!
Thanks for making an attempt.
