i have two jpannels, after an event occurs i want to hide one and show other, How to  RSS feed

Hi iam new to swing programming, i am developing an application.
after an user clicks on one button, i want to show another pannel with other buttons. can any one tell how to do that. or what to use. I am confused. I checked out ilayer panes etc. but made me more confusing....

Look into the CardLayout layout manager... it looks to be just the thing you need.
