Hi guys,
I 've got a question...
When is a renderer picked or created for a cell.
Is there any method called which we can override.
And what is the default renderer component for a table.(JTextField or something like that)
I am using a jtable. Whenever I update any of the cells I've to change the color of the first column. Which is the correct place to update the renderer.
Thanks in advance

Try doing a search in this forum this has been covered in detail. Some of the posts contain links to the sun tutorial and a another to a swing example sight. JLabel is the default and look at DefaultTableCellRenderer.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
