These questions can't be answered in general, given the wide variety of companies. Also, the answers depend on your personal preferences and goals, about which we know nothing.

Exactly!!!
Couldn't agree more. In fact, such naive "best" questions often show that you're perceiving things without realizing the various frames of references & preferences.

Same here. I wish the answers for such questions were available and then the world would have had only the "best options" left with only the "best people".

In product based company input --> people and output --> product
In service based company input --> people and output --> "polished" people

It all depends on your strengths.
Your preferences can influence the decisions, but I recommend you to decide based on your strengths

Start with Product based company, get a strong hold on technology, then move to Service based company.

But then again...

Agree with Ulf and Manish. In fact the best for majority of people may not best for you. To give an example I am working in a company since around 3 years and some people left the same company within 6 months saying that they don't like the company.
