I want to use my own image for the knob of a jslider. Do I need to write my own look and feel? Or is there some way I can change the knob image. That's all I want to do. The jslider should do everything else the same. I just want to use my own image for the knob. Seems like that should be easy, right?

To my opinion, you're right when you say you have to write your own look and feel for this component. The best to do may be to extend the ScrollBarUI of any look-and-feel and override the paint method. Then a simple call to the setUI method of JScrollBar should be sufficent.

Has anyone used the skin look and feel (http://www.javootoo.com)? I got that working and downloaded a theme to work with this (http://www.themes.org), but I'm not sure about building my own theme. Anyone done this? Thanks, Chris
