I am currently pursuing my B.E under graduation and now i am doing my third year.I am currently a sun certified java programmer (5.0) and now i am learning for the SCWCD. I am an Indian by native.I wish to get settled in U.K
currently i have completed two web based projects in JAVA technologies.

I wish to be a Web developer in future
I am in a dilemma if i must take up the SCEA examination to boost up my credit in this field and please do guide me regarding the things to be accomplished and the companies that i can try so that i could get there.

please also suggest me regarding the current technologies that people are expecting there.so that i can prepare for it during the course of my study

here.

my basic plan is to take up the SCBCD along with SCWCD before the completion of my career and also to take up the SCEA examination.
Also i know have some experience in Javascript and i am a bit okay with ajax but have not gone through in detail.

Thanks for your help. All your advices are welcome

Piling up on certifications alone won't make you stand out. Besides it is good to sit for SCEA olnce you have enough industry experience.

Develop your soft skills and technical skills in sought after Java/J2EE based technologies. Contribute to open source projects and learn the art of marketing your skills efficiently via your resume, interview and at your regular job. I have worked with stand-out candidates who has not a single certification.

Emplyers are looking for well-rounded candidates who can contribute and add value not just academic qualifications alone.
