Hi
How can i set the size of a innner panel bigger than the outer panel, setsize doesn't seem to work when i am using border layout
please reply help me solve this problem

hi,
why would you want to do that? the "inner" panel won't be an inner panel anymore but an outer panel that hides the one behind.

Hi George,
Only the java.awt.ScrollPane or javax.swing.JScrollPane allow children that are larger then their visible portions. If the child gets bigger than the parent then the user must have a way to view the hidden parts of the child. The only way to handle that is with scrollbars which are supplied with the two objects mentioned above.
