I have to display an HTML file (which resides on the server) in a JEditorPane.
There are two approaches to the same :
1. new JEditorPane("somefile.html");
2, new JEditorPane().read(InputStream in, Object doc)
The first approach loads the initial screen fast, but the entire HTML file (around 280KB) comes at a snails pace on the screen.
The second approach open the initial screen pretty late, however, once opened, the entire report is shown in a flash.
Is there anyway I can get swing to display HTML at the same speed like IE displays the HTML file.
