Hi all,
in relation to my post: "Runtime exceptions with JBorderlessButton on BorderPanel" I found out that using a ToolTipText on a com.symantec.itools.swing.JBorderlessButton generates exceptions when the mouse is over the object long enough to display the tooltiptext. However, the ToolTipText is never shown, instead several nullpointer excepions are thrown.
I use Visual Cafe 3.0c and I added the tooltiptext in the properties window of the JBorderlessButton. I assume that I do not have to add a ToolTipManager or something to get this working, as I am not prompted to do so when I add the ToolTipText as a property. Is Visual Cafe in error here or am I doing something wrong?
