Hi, I'm running JDK 1.3 under JBuilder 1.4 Enterprise Edition.
What I am attempting to do is drag and drop between my application and the OS (in this case both Windows and Linux -- KDE).
Here are my results:
Within the application, I can drag and drop without problem.
In Windows, I can drag from the OS to my app and get the transfer data. However, I cannot drag from my application into Windows.
In KDE, I can drag from my application to the OS, but I cannot drag from the OS to my application (it doesn't recognize the application as a drop target).
I don't know why I am encountering the problems that I am encountering, nor do I know why I'm getting the exact opposite results in KDE as I am in Windows.
Any light that can be shed on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Andre.
