Unable to capture dos Prompt from the screen- really irritating me!!  RSS feed

Hi, Nate U had already replied for capturing the current screen, it all works fine,but I'm unable to capture the screen if the active screen is a "Dos Prompt" i.e of a full screen.If the same prompt is maximized,or resized it is captured with the other windows active.How can this be solved.Anybody eager to reply this,u too Nate.

So it will take a screen capter of the Dos prompt unless you put the dos window into full screen? I tried out two or three of screen capture programs on my machine, and none of them were able to do this. Bet your out of luck.. sorry

I agree with Joshua... I don't think there is a way to do this... I think that if the DOS window is maximized it doesn't use video memory the same way, so the screen capturer just gets an empty image...
