hide the title bar of a JFrame

Hi, I want to hide the title bar of the JFrame.I want to display an application window that should be a little different,on hiding the title bar it can be displayed something different or can u suggest me of developing an attractive apllication window that pops up on user requests.
Please reply me as soon as possible.

My suggestion would be to use a JWindow instead of a JFrame. The JDK 1.4 has added setUndecorated( true ) that will accomplish the same thing.

just when u create ur frame, on its init method, use this:
