How can I use Windows Look-and-Feel in a
Unix (Linux/Solaris/HP-UX) platform?
It is throwing UnsupportedLookAndFeelException ?

Hi,
UNIX platform cannot give you Windows L & F. It's not meant for that. You can get a bit in Linux using X-Windows.

It's not so much that it's not meant for that. It's that In order for you to get a Windows Look and Feel in Linux, MS would have to allow Sun access to some of it's source code so that the Windowing API could be transfered onto the Unix platform. And you know how that goes.
You could however create your own look and feel and model it as best you can after windows. It would take a lot more work than I believe it is worth.
Is there any reason you want the Windows Look And Feel in Linux? I don't even use it in Windows.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
