Hi,
I am getting the following exception while doing certain action in my swing application.

An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.
Unexpected Signal : EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION occurred at PC=0x0
Function name=(N/A)
Library=(N/A)
NOTE: We are unable to locate the function name symbol for the error
just occurred. Please refer to release documentation for possible
reason and solutions.
Current Java thread:

gives a pretty good indication of what is going on... some native code that your Java code is calling through JNI is having a problem. What native code is being accessed? Is it something that you (or someone else) has written? Is it a third-party app? Is it something that the Java core itself is trying to natively call? Also stating what platform, version of Java, etc. would help...

Thanks for your reply.I have not done this part of coding.This Exception comes up after doing up some DnD operation in JTree.
Java version being used is 1.3.0
I am using it in Windows 2000

Hi,
One thing i forget to tell you is....
In Windows XP and using JDK1.4 , this error is not coming.
