Hi Everyone,

I am holding H1B via. I am from India, working using Java/J2EE using Spring, Hibernate, Struts and EJB 2.0 along with cross cutting tools and technologies. I am SCJP 5 (71%) and SCWCD(89%). Currently working in Agile environment. I am also having working experience with clients from United Kingdom, Hong Kong and United States Of America.

I am holding H1B visa through a company which is wasting my time now and due to financial crisis problem in US, they are not able to get a client interview for me.

So could any one let me know that how should i step forwards (do i need to search jobs directly from jobs portals, if yes, please provide me some good jobs portals links) or need some consultant/interface for this).

Sincerely,
Hema

It is useless, you would NOT find anything right now even if you were already in US, as another post states (Java Job Market @ US due to recent turmoil) US job is frozen since June 2008, so there is no way you can find something from abroad, you wouldn't even if you were on site in US.

You have to wait for mid November at least after US presidential election, when all kind of things get unfrozen, but before nothing could happen.

Best regards.
