Is it possible to fill a textarea that is instanced like this: TextArea t = new TextArea(20,40);
from another class. without giving t this other class.
Better, is there a way to check what sorts of input possibilities are open in the same program.
I hope you understand what I mean.
Greetings from Austria.

We ain't got many rules 'round these parts, but we do got one. Please change your display name to comply with The JavaRanch Naming Policy.
Thanks Pardner! Hope to see you 'round the Ranch!

You could pass a reference to t to an instance of the other class. Or did you mean, "without giving the other class a reference to t"?

I'm afraid that I don't understand what you mean... well, maybe I do. Are you asking if there is someway for an outside program to analyze another program to determine possible types of user input?
