Hi. I have been using the JDK 1.4 for the last couple of months. I do a lot of GUI's that have labels with associated text fields, and found the new Layout SpringLayout(). I looked at the tutorial "How to use SpringLayouts" on Sun's website, but didn't really get much out of it. Even looking at the example for a Form, confused me (which isn't hard to do). Has anyone worked with this layout much? If so, could you please let me know if it is any better than the other layouts, and could you help me find a simple example, with explanation, using labels and textfields on a panel?
Thanks in advance!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
