Hi!
I've been having a difficult problem with
JFileChooser. Instead of requesting a pop-up
window, I have added an instance of JFileChooser
to my own JPanel instance that I developed. The
JFileChooser shows up fine on the JPanel,
but how do I get access to the components of the
JFileChooser (e.g. the Save button). How can
I, for example, make the Save button turn
yellow when a mouse is over it and add listeners
to it, etc?
Your help would mean so much.
Warmly,
Gerald Tan

I just heard of that: try to fire your own PropertyChangedEvents. you will have to search for documentation and maybe lookup the source code to find the strings that define for example the background color property.
another way is to write your own LookAndFeel or (Metal)Theme respectively. this will affect your whole application but that might be what you want, anyway.
