Hey,
If you find StarOffice to be an easy-to-use, intuitive program, quit reading.
If you find that want to wring its overrobust little neck and want a book to help you figure out how to use it, my lovely and talented co-author and I want to present "StarOffice Companion." In it, we tell you how to do what you need to in StarOffice, whether it's creating a dropdown list in a spreadsheet, or using sheeps' bladders to prevent earthquakes. We wrote it at 4:00 in the morning or at midnight, most of the time, hence you get a lot of examples exhibiting our long and abiding interest in oatmeal, as well as any Rob Reiner movie.
There's a section on the nearly-always-troublesome issue of getting the JRE 1.1.8 installed AND recognized, so that'll probably come in handy for some of y'all. Plus "Harry Potter and the Secret Install Files," tutorials for most products, quickstart info, and other goodies.
"StarOffice Companion" is available for ordering right now at fine online bookstores everywhere; starts shipping and being stocked in brick-and-mortar stores in November.

So it takes a day for light to pass through this glass? So this was yesterday's tiny ad?
