Hi,
suppose i have method long method in applet and i need to use progress monitor how can i do it,
i tried the code from
http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/components/progress.html
but it only works in example not in my case, what i did was in the ActualTask class in LongTask i commented the original code and added this code
ArrayList aa = new ArrayList();
for(int i = 0; i < 900000; i++)
{
aa.add(Integer.toString(i));
}
current = lengthOfTask;
but the dont get the progree monitor
so if i have some code like above how can i do it
can any one provide a class doing a long task and how they get the progress monitor

Yeah, but does being a ninja come with a dental plan? And what about this tiny ad?
