Hi folks!
I don't know what I would do without "The Java Class Libraries" series of books by Patrick Chan and Rosanna Lee. Does anyone know if something like this exists for Swing? Didn't see anything at the publishers site (addison-wesley).
Thanks! Janet

What about the Definitive Guide to Swing for Java 2, Second Edition:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/189311578X/electricporkchop
Try looking in the bunkhouse:

Have fun!

Frank,
Thx for your reply.
I looked in the bunkhouse and didn't see anything matching my description/request. I checked out that book on the APress site since they at least posted 1 full chapter and it unfortunately doesn't resemble the Chan/Lee books.
What I am looking for is a guide which looks like the documentation that Sun provides, but something that has lots of examples. Oh well, I guess it doesn't exist.

Janet,
Try taking a look at Java Foundation Classes: Swing Reference I think this maybe the best book for you.

Thanks Nigel! Since I can only get it used, and it's listed for just $5.40 US, then maybe it's worth a try (especially since the remarks made it seem like it's more of a reference book). I appreciate the help!
