i have an applet which has a button which performs getAppletContext().showDocument().
it works fine on ie and on netscape.
i made a JApplet which does the same thing. it works fine on netscape, but the button doesn't
do anything in ie! i see the JApplet fine, i can
open the JComboBoxes, but when i press the button- nothing happens.
yeh, i have ie6 and sun's plug-in.

I like your mess, Asher, namely because I can't see it. There is no code! Can't clean something that you can't see. Also for browser/applet issues, I would need a lot more context than what you've provided: OS for starters. JVM for another, etc. etc.
