Hi all,
My dialog has the same icon as its parent. This is default OK behavior. But if this dialog is NOT resizable, the icon disappears.
I don't like this behaving. Is it correct? How to avoid this. My current solution is not much elegant. I leave the dialog resizeable and when user try to resize, the origin size is set.
WinNT, JDK 1.3.x
thanx

I think that the icon disappears when the dialog is not resizable so the user cannot get to the sizing controls that are usually brought up by clicking on the icon. This *may* also only apply to applications running AWT on windows or running the windows look and feel in Swing... I seem to recall a Sun developer explaining that they did this because most Windows apps don't display an icon on their dialogs...
