i want to know that why there is no class in Swing package
JCheckboxGroup
like in awt

That's because in swing you can easly use a class javax.swing.ButtonGroup to associate all types of buttons(Check...Radio...) and to be able select exclusively one button of your group.
I wish to help you...but if I were not so good to explain ask me again!
