Have you used RTFEditorKit in Java? I am going to prepare an RTF Editor, using javax.swing.rtf.RTFEditorKit. My idea is to prepare a component that runs in two modes, as an RTFEditor and as an HTMLEditor. There will be a mode switching facility to perform it. I need only to provide a few supports like fint increase/decrease, bold, italic, underline, 3 or 4 font-family etc. Before that I would like to have your comments.
Any open source RTF Editor or HTML Editor will make my task easy. Do you know of a light one?

Hi Ashik,
I came across this one recently.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ekit/
If you are not looking for a WYSIWYG type editor, just a text editor, you may want to consider the editor kits that come with Netbeans. http://editor.netbeans.org . It has auto-completion and syntax highlighting features.
Hope that helps!
Raj
