I need to write a JComboBox with Swing which has fixed width, and the elements added to it can be longer (wider) than the JComboBox. So when the JComboBox gets focus, the list of elements are in a box which is wider than the "header" of the JComboBox.
Any links? Ideas?
Thanks!

Stepped Combo Box
That should do the trick.
