an MDI aplication in java
using JDesktoppane and JInternalFrame
with some source codes if you please

Hi,
We are in the process of developing an MDI application. Well it's nothing different than a standalone swing page. The only difference here is that you add a JDesktopPane component in the main Frame. You can have any layout based on the requirement. With main frame, i mean this is your MDI structure and here onwards you keep adding JInternalFrame/JPanel to this JDesktopPane.
I just hope the attached code is helpful for you to understand the same.

please let me know if you need complete code that might make u understand it better.

I am working on making an open source desktop system that manages menus and toolbars and status bar. It will have runtime configurable menus and toolbars too.
That is all it will do. I'm tired of redoing this stuff for every app I make...
