It is technically possible, but is not provided in the JDK due to licensing issues with the Unisys GIF patent... however, there are several GIF endcoders out there... this page has several good links about it.

I think I donot express myself clearly.
Now I will try a secend time:
step1,create an Image Object,do something to it(e.g. draw lines, paint colors)
step2,save the Image Object to a .gif file
Thanks to Nathan Pruett for giving answer to step2.
How can I accomplish step1 in java?
Thanks a lot.
Please give pseudocode.
