I am looking for either a good resource or help on flowing from one window (JFrame) to another. For example I have a list window and want to select a record and then flow to a maintenance window to maintain the record.
What does the Java code look like for this flow if I have the two windows in their own class files. Am I even thinking about this and designing it right?
Thanks in advance.

Don't know what you mean by "flow". More typically, a user would select a row in a list, and another window would display the editor for that record. This is just a matter of implementing a ListSelectionListener for the JList, and in that listener, setting up the editor window to display the data from the selected row.
If this makes no sense, maybe you could give us more details on what you're thinking of.
