hi i am working on a GUI application.but i have three problems
1.
i want to display a splash image before the main window of the application shows up.how do you do that in java with some code if you please.
2.i also want to display a progress bar with the splash image to inform users on the progress on the actions before the main window comes up.
i won't mind some code here.
the Last is i am trying to build a wizard like dialogbox which will guide
users through a series of steps .how do you do all that .i know you use the cardlayout somewhere but can i get some code.
thanks

1) As your Application will have a JFrame class, in constructor of it, call a splashWindow (a JDialog) and wait for few seconds.
2) Place whatever the components you like on the Dialog.
