---Kada Systems Announces Availability for Palm OS---
Today, we have posted our first release for Kada Mobile (CLDC/MIDP 1.0)
for Palm OS 4.x and 5.x. We are particularly excited about this release, as it will be the most contemporary Java implementation for PALM delivering a unique combination of small footprint (400KB), superior performance, with new features such as support for up to 4 MB of heap, 5-way navigation (Tungsten feature), new networking libraries with Palm 5.0, and high-resolution graphics.
We are equally committed to MIDP 2.0 support on the Palm, this will be
Increasing essential as more Palm devices support wireless capabilities look for these developments in the summer 2003.
---Easier Access to Evaluation Releases---
Kada Systems sincerely appreciates your interest in the Kada
Mobile Platform for J2ME. We have simplified the steps in order
to obtain the Evaluation and Beta software. All you need to do
is reply to this email with a preferred user name and password, and
we will immediately provide you access to the Evaluation Center.
Currently available on the Evaluation Center is our "Java Powered" certified Win32, Palm and Pocket PC 2002 implementation of Kada Mobile. This release can be integrated with Borland's JBuilder 8 and MobileSet 3 and Metrowerks CodeWarrior Studio 7. If you don't use a Java development tool, you can also run and test Kada Mobile using command line options.
---Available soon! Kada Mobile for Texas Instruments TCS2100 chipset---
Kada Systems will be the only Java vendor to deliver support for the TI TCS 2100 Chipset and Wireless Software foundation. Through our agreement with TI, Kada will make available to device manufacturers and developers an evaluation copy of the SDK on-line enabling you to test your MIDlets on the TI emulation environment with the Kada Mobile Java Powered CLDC/MIDP implementation.
