Hello Everyone,
I need some help regarding the display of fonts of languages other than English. I wish to display Hindi and Telugu fonts on Labels and text fields using Java Swing.
Can some one tell me how to go about it? I have the required ttf files, which work on Windows.
This a bit urgent!!!
Thanks.
Jyothsna.

Jyothsna Sri Y,

I believe you can do the following:
myLabel.setFont(new Font("FONT_NAME", Font.PLAIN, 12));
but I haven't tried it with non-standard fonts.

I hope that helps you.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
